The Grange is an excellent care home. The staff are so welcoming and helpful and the atmosphere is genuinely like a family than a care home. My mother spent her last few years there and knowing that she was in such a happy environment and so well looked after was very reassuring to all her family.
Sadly she passed away but all the staff and the owners were so kind and caring, letting us be with her 24 hours a day,7 days a week during the palliative care period.
Every resident is encouraged to join in the many activities organised for entertainment, and the range of activities is huge, genuinely something for everyone. The catering team even has a note of each residents preferences for meals, so everyone has their choice covered.

Finding a care home for a loved one is a daunting prospect. Will they be happy there, will they ‘fit in’, what are the staff and carers like? After 20 years of independent living, a spell of ill health and some mobility loss, our family faced these worries for our 94 year old father.
We viewed a number of other homes but they always lacked something. The Grange at Kennington was an instant ‘yes’ from our family members that viewed the home 9 months ago. The staff are warm and friendly as are the owners who welcome any ideas or suggestions for improvements. There is even an Entertainment manager for residents activities. The accommodation is very clean, well decorated and maintained, as are the lovely extensive gardens. Meals are homemade and nourishing. The fees are also very competitive.
Dad has really settled in and is happy, mixing well with the other residents and staff. We strongly recommend The Grange where quality, comfort and care are key.

My grandad recently moved to The Grange, and we are really pleased with the transition. It feels like a home away from home. The food is delicious, and he even has an Alexa in his room, which he finds very entertaining. There are plenty of activities every day. Thank you to the staff and management team!

The Grange is an exceptional carehome! From the warm welcome at the entrance by Tracy, every moment felt like family. My gran smile spoke volumes about the quality of care she receives. Clean room, delicious meals, and engaging activities by Megan made her feel right at home. Grateful for the peace of mind knowing she’s in such capable hands. Highly recommend this wonderful home.

My Nan moved in to The Grange in March 2019 and it immediately felt homely and friendly. The staff are fantastic, they are always happy and friendly and have always got time to talk to you. Nan feels comfortable with staff and they help her no matter what. The Grange has been especially good during lockdown, they set up Skype so we could keep contact with her during the lockdown but still be safe. They have kept us up to date with everything they have been doing to make sure all the residents are safe and that they are following all the guidelines. We never have to worry about our Nan because we know she’s safe and happy and surrounded by lovely people.
