GP calling back about a resident . Spoke to Ruki who demonstrated due diligence a methodical approach excellent communication and had all the relevant information at hand .

My nan stayed there right till the day she passed, they were amazing every single day, they were so caring and accommodating no matter what state our nan was in. They were helpful and extremely professional. Very clear so see that they all knew every patient personally and their families. One career in particular we would all want to thank is a lovely women named Beu, she supported everyone from the day our nan went in till the day she passed. We are so thankful they all gave their all and helped the end of our nans life to be amazing and so unstressed. All of us are so happy with this place and would definitely recommend to anyone who has someone who struggles with dementia or Alzheimer’s.

Walking into Southway the entrance is light and airy and the welcome is genuine. The staff, without exception, are friendly and amazing with the residents.
When looking for a home we were told not to look for drapes or chandeliers: Southway is a 70s build with simple furnishings and is spotlessly clean everywhere.
I mentioned the staff, nothing is too much trouble and they are so caring. Dealing with dementia residents can’t be easy but everyone is special and they are treated with great respect.
It is the hardest choice to place a loved one into a home but I know that I can leave and know that my chap is being given the best care.
