Warning: Fails to provide basic care or dignity.
I am writing this to warn other families to stay away from this facility. My father was accepted here after a stroke, completely incapable of caring for himself, and the level of neglect we witnessed was heartbreaking.
Despite their initial promises, the home failed on every front:
* Lack of Care: The staff displayed a shocking lack of compassion. My father was treated as a task rather than a human being.
* Broken Promises: They committed to providing specific care plans and specialized equipment for his recovery, but these never materialized.
* Incompetent Management: When we raised our concerns, the manager was dismissive and unhelpful.
This culture of indifference clearly trickles down from the top, including the regional management, who failed to take our complaints seriously.
Do not believe the sales pitch provided during the initial tour. The reality experienced once a loved one is a resident is completely different. It is advisable to look elsewhere if a family member requires dignity and safety.

I just wanted to congratulate Erika, Pam and the team at Pemberley on the warm welcome they gave my mother and me on a recent visit to view the home. All the staff were welcoming and it was a pleasure to see carers actively engaged with the residents in a warm and caring way. The residents we met, all seemed to be very content and happy. Thank you for showing us around Pemberley and ensuring that my mum felt welcomed during our visit.
