My mum was in the exceptional care of Lillibet Lodge, and if you are seeking a care home for your loved one, I highly recommend Lillibet Lodge. The manager, Louise, is excellent and will ensure you are well informed regarding the care and management of your loved one. She is extremely approachable and responsive and I’m very grateful for her support and approach to the latter stages of my mum’s life in the home.
The care staff are incredible.
They are friendly and welcoming and looked after my mum with respect, genuine affection and kindness. They are extremely hard working and keep the lodge in excellent order. I recently spent time around the clock at Lillibet Lodge, as my mum passed away at the end of her life, and I witnessed first-hand this incredible work. Their care never faltered, even at the end of long shifts, and I couldn’t be more appreciative of how they helped us get through such a difficult and upsetting time. Thank you to all the staff at Lillibet, I will forever be grateful.

Very perceptive and sensitive staff who work extremely hard. The highly qualified chef provides a very thoughtful and imaginative menu, catering for people’s favourite foods and fortifies tempting little dishes for those with poor appetites or difficulty chewing or swallowing. Managers were helpful to me over personal difficulties when they arose. Maintenance and housekeeping staff were very cheerful and friendly whilst also working really hard. This place helped me a lot.
Addendum. Please note my review is now 4 years old. I do not know what this home is like now altho I’ve heard there has been a change of management and the chef now works elsewhere. You are advised to consider recent reviews. My stay was excellent.

We moved mum here some years ago after a really poor experience elsewhere. Despite being a challenging lady, Lillibet continue to provide 1st class care, have improved her health and upheld her welfare superbly even during the Covid difficulties. We’re incredibly grateful for the whole teams continuing care

My mum has been at the lodge for almost 16months.
She is very happy living there and all the staff care for her with sensitivity and love. Management and staff will always find time for a chat and answer any questions, if not in person via phone or video link.
Everyone at the lodge do an outstanding job.
