We had an absolutely wonderful experience with Kash Kumar, and I honestly cannot recommend him highly enough. He was genuinely outstanding — without a doubt, the best optician I have ever come across.
I accompanied my elderly mum to her appointment, and from the moment we met Kash, we were made to feel completely at ease. He was exceptionally warm, friendly, professional and kind, and it was immediately clear that he genuinely cared about my mum and her wellbeing.

My mum has diabetes and some slightly more complex eye issues, so naturally the appointment could have felt quite worrying. However, Kash was incredibly patient and reassuring. He took the time to listen carefully to both my mum and me, answered every question we had, and explained everything thoroughly and calmly in a way that was easy to understand. He never made us feel rushed or that any question was too small.

What stood out most was not only Kash’s knowledge and professionalism, but the genuine compassion and care he showed throughout the entire appointment. His manner was exceptional, and he went above and beyond to make sure my mum felt comfortable, reassured and fully informed.

It is incredibly refreshing to come across someone who combines such a high level of expertise with such warmth, patience and humanity. Kash is a truly exceptional optician, and his approach makes such a difference to the experience of his patients and their families.

We left the appointment feeling so reassured and grateful that my mum was in such capable and caring hands. Kash is a real credit to Leightons Opticians and an enormous asset to the team.

I had a pair of wayfarers with broken lenses. I bought replacement ones but couldn’t fit them. Kevin in Leightons managed to fit them at no cost. Amazing service. Will use in future for eye tests and frames. Excellent customer service. Thank you!

My Ear wax removal procedure was performed extremely well by Elenor who was very knowledgeable and helpful.
My hearing test was done by very experienced and helpful audiologist Amina who produced a detailed computer generated Audiogram. My thresholds were mainly in mild and moderate zones. I was offered to try hearing aids but these were too loud and produced whistling and shrieking sound every time I spoke. Maybe the ear dome was seated too far in the ear canal. Perhaps it would be better if there were choice of Hearing Aids available to try.
However, the staff were polite and helpful indeed. There’s a wide choice of glasses available in the showroom.
