Sadly my father passed away last year. His end of life care was managed with dignity and respect and our family was wonderfully supported.
I still regularly visit Coombe House and continue to appreciate the care that l witness.

My elderly mother has been living at Coombe House since summer 2024 and we as a family couldn’t be more happy with the care she has been receiving at Coombe House. She was finding it difficult to cope living in her own home & was initially reluctant to move, but she is now so happy she made that decision. Her quality of life has improved greatly, she’s made new friends, and is enjoying socialising again. She often tells me how kind & caring the staff are, I have met many of them & totally agree. Residents are treated with dignity and respect and individual needs are incorporated automatically with no fuss. Coombe House is a family run home with a truly lovely homely atmosphere, Management are approachable & available at all times and I feel able to relax knowing she is in good hands.

A lovely care home with great facilities. My Gran was living her own and suffering from Alzheimer’s when we moved her here and since moving has gained a new lease of life! She is very happy and has made a lot of new friends. The carers have been amazing. We are all very grateful that a place like Coombe House exists.

After visiting many homes I knew I had found the one where my 97 year old stepmother would be happy when I found Coombe House.
It is a delightful building offering spacious and individual rooms. The communal rooms are large and pleasantly decorated for the many social activities organised for the residents.
Coombe House is well managed with exceptional staff, they are all caring, fun and respectful. My stepmother enjoys the interaction she has with them and they are always friendly and helpful when I visit, there is low staff turnover so I have got to know them well over the last 18 months.
My stepmother has settled very happily at Coombe House, she tells me every time I visit “You couldn’t have found me anywhere better, I am so lucky.”

The Coombe House is a wonderful residential home set in a beautiful location. The staff and management are kind, caring and compassionate they give my very elderly Grandmother excellent care, she is very happy there! The home spotlessly clean with lovely furnishings. I often visit and stay for a delicious home cooked lunch. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending The Coombe House to anyone considering a residential home for their relative.
