My mother in law was transfered to Brabourne care centre from Halden Heights 6 weeks ago and never really settled in. Where she was use to sitting in comfy chairs in lounge the people who couldn’t walk was stuck in wheel chairs. Out of the 6 weeks she stayed in bed most of them. We brought her new summer pjs and they put normal t shirts on to sleep in .Staff said we can’t force her which is understandable but there are other ways. Monday 30th June we received a phone call from the nurse saying that she was not responsive. Again it could have been put a different way that she had passed away.
Not saying that the staff are not doing their jobs right but I do feel it could be run a different way and for the lounge to have comfy chairs for them to sit in. It cost enough for her to stay there.

I’ve been coming up here for a A year to visit the family and the Staff Are excellent there is one member of the care staff that is outstanding his name is Febin (Jonh) You should be very proud to have him working for you. From my experience, he is the soul of the top floor care staff. You should be proud to have someone like him working for you. He Is very professional in the job he does and the way he joins in and helps and plays with the other residence on the top floor is amazing. You should reward him and others like that for the way they are to the residence. If I had a Care Home and I had someone working for me like that, I would be extremely proud to employee people like that. . Keep up the good work . You are a good example to all the other Carers Jonh

Our mum was only here for 3 weeks until she passed away but we were so impressed by the genuine care and attention she received from the staff. The place is spotless, light and airy. The staff were genuinely upset by her death. These people really care. Thank you so very much. Trosky, Pedrick and Abi are running a really caring home. Many thanks. Julia & Nick (children of Gwen)

Mother just transferred to this place today 20/10/21. She was left abandoned by the staff despite needing help. I tried ringing several times and got no answer. Absolutely ridiculous. If I could give it 0 I would. 1 star is too many.

My dad passed away recently and i have to say the care he received was superb..He was on the top floor and the nurses were great with him.I know at times he was not the easiest of patients to deal with.The peace of mind for me was priceless..Thanks all at brabourne..regards Derek.
