An outstanding care home that sets the benchmark for quality and safety. The team is incredibly attentive, ensuring all safety protocols are followed without making the environment feel clinical. Residents are clearly happy and well cared for. I was especially impressed by how proactive management is in reviewing procedures and implementing improvements. Their dedication to maintaining high standards in both care and safety is evident in everything they do.

I used to visit Beacon house because my good friend and neighbour was sent to stay there after hospitalisation. Sadly my lovely and dear friend never returned to his flat but it’s nice to know that he was well looked after and cared for in Beacon House. The people who work there are truly amazing and you can have nothing but respect for them. Thank you.

Well what can I say , I managed to get my mum into Beacon house 9 days ago after an awful 4 months at another nursing home which doesn’t even deserve a mention ! I can already say … what a difference, the staff go above & beyond , so attentive & caring , I can’t praise them enough for what they’ve done already for my mum , always very welcoming , and I’m seeing a smile on my mums face which I havnt seen in a long time , thankyou you all for your caring hard work

My mum spent approximately 3 weeks in Beacon House after a very difficult 2 months in Bedford hospital. When she arrived the doctors had said she was suffering from hospital delirium and was very confused. Her stay in Beacon house was to assess her before hopefully sending her home.
We had no previous knowledge of care homes but our family were very pleased with the care she received while in Beacon house and I believe it really helped as part of the transition to coming home. I am happy to say 2 weeks on she is now so much better.
The care home itself is an older building but in my experience was always kept very clean and the rooms were of a good standard. The most important thing in a business such as this is clearly the staff and every single one I came into contact with friendly and caring. All in all her brief period in Beacon house could have been any better in my opinion.

My mother was moved into this home straight from hospital on the government’s covid19 program. I will be eternally grateful to the management, nursing staff, administrator and all other staff for the wonderful nurturing care that they gave not only my mother but also the family with regular updates during this very difficult period when we were unable to visit her due to lockdown. She has today moved on to a new home which will suit her specific individual needs but am so happy this home is also part of The Langslade family. I cannot speak highly enough of Beacon House and the quality of care my mother received and would reccomend the home without a doubt
