I whole heartedly recommend Airedale Nursing Home, it is warm & welcoming maintaining a ‘home’ like atmosphere while delivering excellent, compassionate individual care . I really do feel that my father was cared for as ‘one of the family’. EVERY single member of staff we met was cheerful, friendly & kind and gave him the best possible care.
The rooms are bright & airy & he had a view of the beautifully maintained gardens & he enjoyed being able to visit & sit in the garden.
As a family we were supported during the transition into full time care and then to end of life care, which was all we could have asked for. THANK YOU

We couldn’t recommend Airedale Nursing home enough. Our father currently lives in this home and it gives us, his family great comfort that he is being cared for so well. The home is warm, comfortable & clean with attentive and kind staff. They even provide halal meals specifically for our father. We were told that Airedale was a really good quality nursing home before our father moved in, and now I am happy to confirm, its true.

I cannot recommend this nursing home enough . Having previously had experience with them with a much loved friend , when the time came for our dad to need nursing care it was the only place we wanted him to be . At our first meeting , Arlene was interested in dad’s needs and how they could meet them .
The staff are all so friendly and welcoming .
Dad is kept lovely and clean as is his room and the entire nursing home . The care staff annd nurses are all kind and caring and genuinely want what’s best for dad .
Although dad unfortunately no longer attends the activities , these are really great and varied and he always enjoyed them. In the summer when the weather permits a lot of them take place in the lovely gardens . The food is really good , dad had never eaten so well !
The management take time to get to know the residents and their families and regularly have relative tea parties , which is lovely to get to meet other families who’s loved ones reside at Airdale .
The management are always happy to assist with any concerns and worries you may have , and in my experience nothing has been to much trouble . Not only do we feel dad is well cared for but we as a family have been too.
I would also liked to say , we looked at some modern all singing all dancing care homes but none gave us the confidence that dad was the main importance , at Airdale we felt this immediately.
Most of the staff are long term employees, which in my opinion says a lot .
Thankyou Airdale for giving us the peace of mind to know that even when we are not there , we know dad is being cared for .

This nursing home is immaculatly clean and all of the staff seem very compassionate and also knowledgeable and kind. They have been an invaluable support to us as a family throughout an ongoing emotional sad journey but all the family have found comfort in our loved one being in a calm safe environment. On a lighter note, the meals also look really good and the activities varied and regular. I think a specific mention is deserved too re the beautifully maintained gardens and there are always flowers everywhere inside and out. Oh and another shout out about the easy parking. Not often easy in Bedford!
