As the visiting opticians (Visionary Eyecare) at this care home , we must say, the staff here are fantastic! Very helpful and professional. A special mention to Kayleigh who is the receptionist here. She is an absolute delight and credit to the care home. Extremely helpful and a true superstar at this care home. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking a for a lovely place for their loved ones!

We would like to take a moment to recognise Kayleigh for the outstanding professionalism and warmth she showed when our ambulance crew attended the care home recently.
From the moment we arrived with our patient, Kayleigh was welcoming, calm, and incredibly helpful. She supported us efficiently, provided all the information we needed, and made the handover process as smooth as possible , all while remaining kind and compassionate throughout.
As a crew, we don’t always get the chance to pass on our appreciation, but Kayleigh genuinely impressed us. It is clear she takes great pride in her work and truly cares about the people in her charge.
This care home is very lucky to have such a wonderful member of staff, and we hope this feedback reaches the right people so that her efforts are properly recognised. Thank you, Kayleigh your support made a real difference to us and to our patient.

I attended a lovely networking breakfast this morning. The home felt very friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious. Tamena was wonderfully attentive throughout.
As I was leaving, I saw a group of residents enjoying a cuppa and a chat together, they were all smiling and clearly having a great time. It was a really heartwarming atmosphere.

Whilst visiting Abbeycrest today in the course of our duties, we were warmly welcomed by an exceptionally polite and professional team. Every member of staff we engaged with demonstrated genuine kindness, compassion, and a clear commitment to delivering high-quality care.
In particular, one member of staff stood out for her professionalism, confidence, and natural leadership qualities. Although she was not a manager, she conducted herself in a manner that reflected strong leadership potential and would undoubtedly make an excellent manager in the future.
The atmosphere within the home was welcoming, calm, and reassuring. The team consistently went above and beyond to ensure that residents, visitors, and professionals alike felt comfortable, respected, and valued.
As we were leaving, we were kindly offered refreshments, including a cup of tea and a freshly prepared hot meal of fish and chips, courtesy of the chef. The food was of an exceptionally high standard and clearly prepared with care and pride.
Based on our experience, we would have no hesitation in recommending Abbeycrest. The professionalism, warmth, and dedication demonstrated by the entire team truly reflect the high standards of care being delivered.
