Visiting Angels are simply wonderful… The carers are lovely, kind and empathetic and so deserved of their title Visiting Angels… They couldn’t do enough for us, and the office manager in Chesham, Lisamarie Spain, was a credit to the company… She took our worries away going over and above to find the perfect carers for us, and they were perfect… We will have no hesitation in using Visiting Angels again as and when needed…

Visiting Angels have been visiting my dear friend for a year now. He suffers due to Alzheimers and lives in a specialist care home, with few friends and no family nearby to visit often. Being able to have visits from the Angels a few times a week, including taking him out for a coffee or to the garden centre, has been wonderful. He benefits from these visits and his mood is lifted, which the care home staff have testified to. Shannon in particular really is an angel, she has been his most regular visitor and is brilliant with him. My only regret is that I never get to see her to thank her personally so I hope this shout out will do!

We were very wary of getting carer, we contacted a few but it did not feel right, and came across this agency.
After initial speaking with them we thought it sounded promising. They came to the house, assess the needs, then came back with the possible carer. Making a plan of care.
Our carer is lovely and mother in law took to her straight away. Which was a relief to my husband and myself.
We are now on month 3 and things are going well.
The carer has covered us for a holiday which was great. All went well and mother in law was very happy.
Some I spoke to said no carer does not do that. Visiting angels have a more flexible plan, so they will clean a little to freshen the immediate space, wash bedding, cook/ prepare a meal and give… Even at request take out the client…. We have personal care which has always been done with dignity and respect.
Which whilst we were away was fantastic or unable to do due to commitments of other things…
The carer has no problem either feeding back we have a note book we liaise in. We have been very happy with our visiting angel!
It has really helped out the caring role for our family member. Lessened our load and we feel relaxed when time could not do.
Added 6 months in we extended care but this carer we did not find suitable. This was an unpleasant experience. So not every carer works the same standard. We now are wary of other adhock people coming into the home.
Luckily we still have the original carer who is of an excellent standard.

My mother and I are so pleased with the carers who look after my father. They are all wonderful at giving personal care to dad in a person centered and respectful way allowing him to make decisions even though things are difficult because of his seizures.
Bliss and Wendy are especially good at making dad laugh and keeping him engaged when giving care to dad. We would recommend Visiting Angels to anyone looking for care for their loved ones. Because of them dad is still at home with mum and keeping his independence.
