Went for my wife’s birthday with 3 guests. Food was OK but so basic, I had Chicken milanese which just came looking like 2 separate items on a plate. Presentation was poor at best. Sorry only low review.

Cat and team are absolutely amazing! Booked my 30th birthday here and Cat made the process so easy. The staff worked so hard which help the night run smoothly. The best selection of beer I’ve seen in a pub.

Just took advantage of a 2for1 Sunday roast offer. Very tasty and good portion size. Broccoli, parsnips, carrots, cabbage, and cauliflower cheese with your meat choice layered over the top and covered with gravy with a large Yorkshire on the side. Son had chicken skewer kebabs which he enjoyed.
There’s special themed midweek offers, steak nights, burger nights etc which we aim to return and try in the future.
Also has a good selection of beers and lager.

We had a lovely meal on Thursday for my husband’s birthday.
The tomahawk steak was delicious and very filling. Great value too.
The kids were happy and are looking forward to coming back in the summer for the playground and outdoor dining.

Our first visit to this pub. Loved it. We sat in the garden room, which I think is a secret gem because it is a garden room with a wonderfully big waterfall. Fabulous. Also, the pub is decorated with old advertising memorabilia.
Our breakfasts were tasty, hot and arrived quickly. Plus, good value too.
Two things I’d love to see improve; a thorough tidy of the garden room, and the drinks needs to arrive before the breakfasts.
We’d definitely go back to stir by the canal too in one of the many garden spaces this pub has to offer.
