I was so impressed with the service we received both after an impromptu enquiry for a location to hold mums wake and subsequently a delicious Sunday lunch to check out the food. What a wonderful and positive experience on both counts. Thank you to all the kind and informative staff, especially Chloe and Summer and our wonderful server, whose name we didn’t capture sadly.

It was busy when I visited with colleagues for a leaving drink, it was a glorious evening, hence the 3 star service. I’m sure service would usually be quicker. The location is perfect, next to the river and feels like you’re in the middle of the countryside. The pizzas were fabulous. I will certainly make this the place to go when I want somewhere above the average pub/restaurant. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay. Robyn and the rest of the staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive throughout — nothing was too much trouble, and they really couldn’t do enough for us.
The food was excellent, and the setting was beautiful, with lovely river views that made the whole experience feel peaceful and relaxing. Sitting by the river was especially tranquil and made the stay feel very special.
A lovely hotel with excellent service, great food, and a beautiful riverside atmosphere.

I recently got married here what an amazing place stunning location the staff fantastic Millie and Liam were amazing kept us up-to-date showing us every little detail. The food was amazing from start to finish. The team was fantastic so Helpful the most magical day ever we hired the boat for an hour stunning we’re looking forward to seeing our photos 100% reckon this place to get married

I have just attended an event at the Kingfisher in Bedford. All I can say is from booking right through to the event and the professional and friendly Approach by the staff was exceptional. I feel we live in a world where everybody wants to complain but all I can say is the Service and respect I was shown tonight was second. I will mention names because Millie and Liam Were exceptional I’m facilitated my needs with no fuss but true professionalism And I am extremely impressed. Well done and thank you very much. I hope your managers know what exceptional staff you are.. I have disability needs and they made me feel like one of the crowd, which is what I needed thank you thank you thank you
