Spring Care left my mother who has Alzheimers in a dreadful state before she went into hospital. Her fridge was filthy, empty and mouldy (sadly can’t upload the photos on google reviews). We’ve changed to A1 carers in Hastings, and they are excellent. Can’t do enough for my mum.
Now, nearly a year later with no contact from Spring Care since my mum was discharged last summer – we’ve just been told by them that we have an outstanding bill of over £900!! Avoid them like the plague…

How a business responses to complaints is always illuminating. Families are allowed to take annual holidays – they shouldn’t be made to feel bad about this.
As Spring Care know, my mother was living pretty independently at the time and I respected her independence and space. I know she prefers to eat in cafes a lot (and still does), so I didn’t have cause to examine her fridge before leaving to go away for a week. Then she ‘had a turn’ whilst out in Hastings, so was admitted to hospital. She had been perfectly ok before I left. I was told by the hospital (and my Mother) not to break off the holiday and fly back. She was in good spirits. It was only when I returned and had cause to pick apart what had happened that I saw the situation that Spring Care has resided over. Honestly – the fridge was an utter disgrace.
To try to make a family feel bad and neglectful in response to a poor review basically says it all about Spring Care. As previously said – avoid like the plague…
