The clothing is lovely and everyone that volunteers/works there are so lovely, helpful, supportive, understanding and compassionate. I’ve never been so welcomed, understood, valuated, supported, helped in a non-judgemental way like I’ve been there. This place does wonders (one might say it’s better than therapy).

Smart Works Reading is a transformative charity that prepares women for interviews by giving them interview coaching, styling advice and high quality work-appropriate outfits to help ensure they get the job! They accept donations of new and pre-loved work wear. All other clothing donations are put forward for one of the many fashion sales throughout the year, that are held at the centre in Reading, to help raise funds for the charity. It’s a beautiful, inclusive and welcoming space.
