Sheepdrove Organic Farm & Green Events Venue

Me and my wife spent our first wedding anniversary here at the Boathouse. Everything was absolutely perfect; it was exactly what we wanted and we couldn’t have picked anywhere better. The lodge was spotlessly clean, had a fantastic guide book full of recommended walks and general information on local food/shops etc. Sophia and the team were brilliant and really helpful throughout the entire stay. We cannot wait to come back again soon!

We had a family gathering of 13 adults and 4 young children. Woodend Lodge was absolutely perfect.
All the bedrooms were very well appointed, very clean and of a good size. Absolutely no complaints from any guest (of varying ages!!)
The kitchen/lounge area was a perfect size, where we all congregated for dinner and breakfast (The children has a separate sitting!!)
There was plenty of kitchen equipment for self catering, everything has clearly been well thought through.
The walks were excellent- it was a wonderful place for everyone to relax, chat, enjoy the wonderful surroundings and not an “I pad” was taken out!!!!!
Allison was excellent in her communication, very attentive to our needs and was a real joy to deal with.
Will we be back??- Already booked for next year!!!, with a resounding “Yes” from all 17 of us to return.
It’s not often that you come across accommodation and a venue for such a variety of guest’s needs and ages which absolutely “hit the spot”
It was simply a wonderful stay, which is down the “Sheepdrove’s” attention to detail and commitment to ensuring guests have a wonderful, relaxing time.

A unique farm and venue where you will feel truly connected to nature. The open landscape of the downs is ideal for walking and the care shown to guests is very special.
