My brother’s 40th Birthday Party was held here, a great space which was clean and tidy, staff were polite, friendly and went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable.
Plenty of parking and the drinks were reasonably priced.

We were looking for a local venue for my mum’s 80th birthday, with around 40 guests attending, and Richmond Hall turned out to be an excellent choice.
The location of the Hall is situated off the main high street behind a parade of shops with its own car parking area (free of an evening)
From the very start, Craig (the manager) was incredibly helpful and accommodating, taking the time to show us around and answer any questions we had. The venue itself offered clean, well-maintained, and generously sized facilities, including toilets, a kitchen, a bar area, plus plenty of tables and chairs — everything we needed for a successful event.
On the day itself, we kept in touch with Craig regarding access for decorating, delivery of food items & DJ, he was very helpful and pleasantly chilled about the whole organisation & access.
The hire cost was very reasonable, and the drinks at the well-stocked bar were also priced fairly — refreshingly not extortionate, which guests really appreciated.
During the event, both Craig and his wife served at the bar, and they were friendly, patient, and professional throughout. Their management of the whole facility was faultless and helped everything run smoothly.
In our opinion, Richmond Hall is a perfect venue for hosting such celebrations and private functions. The added benefit of the car park was a big plus, with it being securely locked (by Craig) between 8 – 9pm and then reopened as guests left, which gave peace of mind.
I would definitely consider using this venue again in the future and would happily recommend it to others looking for a great local function space.

Highly recommended Richmond Hall. It’s a lovely hall, and all facilities and the hall itself are immaculate. Craig is amazing and can not do enough to help you. Also very reasonable priced especially the bar, and brilliant bar staff.

I hired Richmond Hall for my Western themed 40th birthday party on the 28th March and couldn’t recommend highly enough.
We had such a brilliant time. I’m so grateful to Craig and his partner Sharna who made my night so enjoyable, they even dressed up for occasion too which was such a lovely touch. Sharna even had a go on the bronco bull. Craig was so accommodating and nothing was too much for him. Such a lovely couple. Thank you so much.
The hall itself was perfect size being able to get a bronco bull and DJ on with much more space for people to dance and have food out. The toilets were absolutely immaculate, couldn’t have been happier to hire Richmond Hall as the venue for my party.
I will most definitely be hiring Richmond Hall for future celebrations.
