Wow where do I start. Jo, Nicola and all the team at Jonathan Williams Funeral Directors really are totally amazing. When we knew Dad didn’t have long left they came out to meet Dad to go over his wishes. From taking him from home, to checking in on my mum, to helping us organise a service, to gathering everything we wanted and working with a lorry hearse company not from Basingstoke they really did go above and beyond. They literally took all the stress away and helped us keep to Dad’s wishes. I felt like they were family which is what you need around you at such a tough time. I can honestly say when we collected dad today I felt sad we may not have to see them again for a long time. The words Thank you do not seem enough.

When we lost our Dad we had to make a quick decision which funeral directors to choose so we went with Jonathan Williams. They were great from the first phone call with Nicola and kept the process as simple and painless as possible. There’s so much to do but they had options for everything including flowers, providing a celebrant, photo tributes, order of service and memorials.
Our celebrant Kevin was very professional and kept in touch throughout and put on a nice service. Dave and his team organised the bearers and all went very well on the day. Couldn’t have asked for more.

My wife chose Jonathan Williams Independent Funeral Directors based on her research, she liked the history and ethos of the firm.
We were both impressed with their team. Nicola was a calm and confident person to guide us through a difficult time following my wife’s father’s passing.
She was understanding and listened to my wife’s wishes, recommending Celebrant, florist and printers to provide all that was needed for a super send off for Ted (my father-in-law).
The whole process was made easier by Nicola’s skilful and caring approach, always checking that my wife was comfortable with what was happening. On the day, Dave led the pall bearers excellently and organised the activities at the Crematorium, again guiding us through the process ensuring that everything went smoothly, a good man indeed.
I completely recommend them for a caring and comprehensive service during a difficult time.
They also recommended Fiona Sargent,our Celebrant. Fiona helped Sandra plan the content of the service, supporting us in writing the tributes and, on the day running the Service to Celebrate Ted’s life.
