I cannot recommend Funky Flowers enough for anyone looking for wedding flowers!
I was struggling to find a florist who could see and feel what I wanted for our wedding, so when I bumped into Kate at a local wedding fair and after only a brief chat about what I wanted, her enthusiasm, ideas and experience of exactly what flowers to use, I knew Funky Flowers were the one for us.
They were absolutely amazing from the moment I then contacted to explore ideas further, we met with Siobhan multiple times beforehand to go through details etc, her knowledge and passion for floristry really shows and her experience was invaluable to us. She knew our venue and was confident in how to achieve everything exactly how we wanted.
My bouquet was magnificent, it was eye catching and so elegantly made, my bridesmaids bouquets were equally as beautiful. I had compliments all day about how beautiful the flowers were. The flowers weren’t the only amazing thing on the day, Siobhan was a presence of calm and serenity bringing us our bouquets, exactly what you need for the morning of your wedding!
For anyone looking for a florist, these are the people for you!

My wedding flowers were probably the last thing ticked off my list as I really didn’t want artificial but kept hearing ‘how expensive real ones are’. I met Kate at a wedding fair at my venue Cantley House and made an appointment to go to the shop. Firstly what a place!! It’s huge inside and has a great vibe – looks like a great place to work. I’ll definitely be signing up for one of their workshops at some point as it looks great fun. Siobhan, the shop manager, who is clearly knowledgeable about her trade also has what I call a great vision. I honestly believe she assesses your personality and designs your requests to complement this. We were having a motorbike themed wedding and also had small bud vases on each table with our centrepiece ‘oil cans’. I’d dropped off the vessels to the shop the previous week and these were delivered and set up on the tables on the day. They also supplied our amazing ceremony table centrepiece, which doubled up as our sweetheart table display, buttonholes for the lads including one for our Irish Setter, bouquets for myself and my maid of honour and corsages for my mum and our sisters (the colours of these were carefully chosen to complement their outfits after I’d shown Siobhan the photos). Last but not least Kate came up with the idea of making a wire attachment for my little poodle’s collar like they would make a floral headpiece for a human. It arrived on the day to the house ready attached to her collar and was perfect!!
Most of our guests stayed over and I gave out the floral displays for them to take home as they were leaving. These were well received – I don’t think you’d get the same reaction with fake flowers!
If you’ve got to the end of this and are a future bride, take my advice and go down the real route, and go to Funky Flowers.

Siobhan was lovely to work with through the whole process of choosing our wedding flowers. They were all beautiful and lasted for ages. Several of our guests went home with the flowers in bottles from the tables. We would highly recommend Funky Flowers for any wedding (or other occasion!)
