I genuinely don’t know where to begin with how grateful we are to this incredible venue and team.

Just eight days before our wedding, we unexpectedly had to cancel our original venue and find somewhere new. At what should have been one of the most exciting times for us, we suddenly found ourselves having to reorganise one of the biggest parts of our wedding at extremely short notice.

From the moment I contacted the team, they were exceptional. They took us on with just eight days to go and went completely above and beyond to make everything happen. What could have been an incredibly stressful experience was made so much easier because of how understanding, reassuring and accommodating they were.

One thing they said to me really stayed with me: they told me they were going to give me the experience and level of service I should have received from the beginning with my original venue. And they absolutely delivered on that promise.

Despite having only eight days, nothing ever felt rushed, compromised or like we were a last-minute booking. They managed the entire onboarding process, worked through all of the details with us and made sure everything was ready for our wedding day. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Every question, request or change was met with a willingness to help.

The service on the day itself was outstanding. We experienced some delays that were completely outside of the venue’s control, but the way the team coordinated everything and adapted the timings was incredible. They remained calm, organised and professional and made sure the day continued to flow beautifully. As the bride, I was kept informed and looked after throughout, which meant I could actually enjoy my wedding rather than worrying about what was happening behind the scenes.

The food was absolutely amazing, and the bridal suite was beautiful. But one of the biggest compliments I can give is about the staff themselves. They were consistently polite, attentive, professional and genuinely warm. Even after the wedding, one of the things our guests have continued to talk about is how lovely and polite the venue staff were. That says so much about the standard of service we received.

What makes the experience even more remarkable is knowing that they achieved all of this with only eight days to prepare for us. At no point did the service feel anything less than exceptional.

After everything that happened with our original venue, this team turned what could have been an incredibly difficult situation into such a positive experience. They made us feel valued, cared for and genuinely supported. I will always be thankful for the kindness, understanding and professionalism they showed us.

They didn’t simply provide us with a venue at the last minute — they stepped in, took care of us and helped give us the wedding day we deserved.

We are incredibly grateful to the entire team and would recommend this venue without hesitation. We would absolutely use them again for future celebrations.

We had our wedding at Friern Manor and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue.

From the planning through to the wedding day, everything was so well organised. Madeline, Jamal, Sarah and the whole team were fantastic, always friendly, helpful and happy to answer any questions. On the day, everything ran so smoothly, which meant we could just relax and enjoy every moment.

The venue is beautiful, the food was excellent, and so many of our guests commented on how lovely everything was.

A huge thank you to everyone at Friern Manor for making our day so special. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for their wedding venue. 🤍
