Church Lane Community Centre, Bedford

Great community centre with lots of amenities near by. Good size and clean facilities.

This is an excellent modern venue, well maintained and with excellent facilities. The main hall has an excellent floor surface, rubber based, making it soft underfoot for children running around without shoes!
The main hall also has access to a kitchen area, bar and is very generous in size, perfect for birthday parties and celebrations with decent numbers attending. Even with a bouncy castle inside there is plenty of room left for other activities.
Parking is the main car park right outside, used for the neighbouring shops. There is usually plenty of space, with the only slight awkwardness being unloading of equipment for a party as you can’t guarantee a space right outside the doors.
Overall though, an excellent and well maintained venue.

We used the community centre for my sons birthday party. The administrator was so helpful not only via email but on the phone. She got back to us quickly and answered all questions fully. The facility is excellent. We used the large hall and kitchen facilities. Inside we fit a bouncy castle and small soft play alongside food tables that fit 25 kids with parents. It was clean and fresh and the kitchen was well equipped. It would have been useful to have a spare cloths but with the shops close by it was easy to get a pack. It was easy to tidy at the end of the party and the administrator came to make sure everything had gone okay. It’s worth getting in contact with as much notice as possible as it seems to get booked quickly.
