Excellent essential therapies for the Multiple Sclerosis community providing specialist physiotherapy, high pressure oxygen therapy, acupuncture, massage, reflexology, reiki, footcare, pain relieving APS therapy and more. A social hub and safe supportive space. A lifeline to many. A charity set up and run by MS patients and their families with no funding from the NHS or elsewhere it is solely on donations. Provides physio and more which the nhs cannot provide for our life long condition. Oxygen therapy run solely by volunteers is essential for my quality of life for pain, cognition and incontinence relief. Reception, collections and fund raising by volunteers. Qualified physiotherapist staff and a small team of part time staff to organise and manage the building, fund raising and events. Trustees are volunteers including some patients, family and friends.

At first I couldn’t bring myself to attend the MS Centre, it brought the reality of being diagnosed right back at me at full force.
Now I wish I took the first steps through that door before I did, they are my saviour, if I have any questions, a therapy they can offer or just a chat over a coffee and biscuit I’m also welcomed with a smile.
Please be reassured I’d take the first step as and when you’re ready, if like me you have difficulty accepting your need to accept your diagnosis let alone going to an establishment that mentions the MonSter you can chat on the phone and express your anxieties they will understand and help you through the beginning of your journey.

From initial contact to the Manager via email to greeting by the Receptionist to expert Physio and Counselling care to very friendly craft/chat group – I have thoroughly enjoyed, and hughly benefitted from, my time at the Centre. I was invited to photograph the BMSTC for new images for their website and spent three days with the staff and clients at this wonderful place. I came away inspired and super grateful. The centre offers a friendly community space for anyone with MS, their families and friends. Sitting down in the welcoming space, receiving welcoming smiles, a touch on the shoulder, a plate of fresh biscuits, endless cuppas, craft activities, puzzles or an uplifting chat makes this a haven for everyone. Added to this, the centre provides a whole host of quality treatments such as physiotherapy, massage, footcare to name a few – with the star of the show a popular Oxygen Tank (the only one in Berkshire), to help people cope with their various symptoms and improve their quality of life. I love this place, and I love the people in it. Thank you so much for having me!
