We booked the crematorium through T. Cribbs in Pitsea. Such a beautiful place. The whole place is well cared for. A great car park and plenty of it. The chapel was beautiful. A whole wall of the sea showing when you entered just help to relax you. The ability to share puctures of your loved one on big screens?was a great touch too. All the time the sea and beach was on display.

Sadly I had to visit today for my cousins funeral. I have been here many times over the years, but I was struck today, by the cleanliness & upkeep of the whole site.
The toilets were impecably clean & warm, as was the waiting room & chapel. There was also a water fountain in the waiting room, which was much appriciated.
Its very well signposted & has alot of parking.
It also feels very respectful, without feeling mournful. A very well maintained location.

I would just like to say how helpful and accommodating Basildon Crematorium are. My mothers funeral service was on 27th April 2021 and due to Covid lockdown I was unfortunately unable to fly home to attend. They offer a webcam service which means wherever you are, you can be a part of your relatives send off. The picture and sound was so good I felt as if I was actually in the room. I would like to say thank you for making a very sad time slightly easier for me. Even though there were restrictions due to Covid the service was carried out in a very professional and sympathetic manner. Thank you again.
