Excellent Service. I came in with a problem with my first pair of glasses. The problem was rectified and I’ve just picked up my replacement pair. Thank you Collette for your time and invaluable help.

The service I experienced at ASDA was absolutely disgusting.
The staff member who dealt with me, Collette, was rude, blunt, and completely unprofessional from the start. She never measured the level of my eyes correctly, which later became very obvious when an optician came out and checked the notes and it was obvious it hadn’t been done. When this was brought up, instead of taking responsibility, Collette flat-out denied it and tried to blame someone else, claiming it “wasn’t her” who did it.
Both me and my mum said to each other and commented that we had never had this issue at Specsavers and her response was shockingly rude. She snapped back, “Well why did you come here then?” — which is completely unacceptable customer service. We came to asda as we had heard brilliant things about it and the service they offer.
There was no apology, no accountability, and no attempt to resolve the situation was only left with an option of a refund or for me to keep travelling back and forward for them to correct there mistakes. Now i’m left without glasses all i felt like i had been left with was just attitude and denial from Collette.I also left feeling disrespected and frustrated. I would not recommend this ASDA service to anyone based on my experience.

I’ve recently met Gloria, I found her to be friendly, knowledgeable and more than happy to assist with choosing my new glasses. She checked to make sure they were compatible with my prescription. Unfortunately the ones I chose weren’t. So she kindly helped me find a suitable pair.
I was advised delivery would be within two weeks. Glasses arrived much earlier. Upon collecting Mary ensured they fitted me perfectly. The Optometrists is very knowledgeable and thorough. Plus they now have the new scanner..

Absolutely disgusting service!
I phoned up as my glasses had broken and was told I was due an eye test so made an appointment.
The day before my appointment I was asked if i was still OK to come I said yes. The day of my appointment I was phoned 15 minutes before my appointment saying that I wasn’t due an eye test and had to pay for the appointment. Bearing in mind that I had already driven 30 minutes to asda. I decided to go anyway as I was closer to asda than home. And mabye try to sort out the problem. I was then greated with such appalling attitude. I was told that I had to pay for the appointment. Which is disgusting as I get benefits and its their fault that that made an error but still expected me to pay! But it didn’t stop there I was also told that if I did pay for the appointment I would loose all of my benefits for 2 years! For an error THEY made! The way I was spoken and treated was vile. So now I’m stuck with broken glasses.
Please avoid like the Plague!😢
