My wife, Alison, has over a period of some six months had an eye test (dry eye assessment included) – the best eye test she has EVER had – and the care taken to explain it was excellent. This was followed by a course of “Dry Eye Treatment” over 5 months which have significantly improved her dry eyes. The standard of care has been exceptional and shewill be returning on a regular basis to have the treatment “topped up.”
She would happily recommend Valarie Jerome and her staff, especially Gemma, to anyone suffering with dry eye syndrome. Sent under my name as she is not a “social media” type!

Valarie Jerome Optometrists are an exceptional practice. Dr Valarie herself provided the most thorough eye examination I’ve ever had, she also took the time to discuss her findings with me as well as my overall eye health not just my prescription requirements. The initial appointment was not rushed unlike previous experiences in standard chain opticians. The choice of both lenses and frames are extensive with a range of prices and styles, also great to see some UK frame brands too. The return appointment to collect glasses was just as good, with careful assessment my were as ordered and glasses fitted well. The whole team are excellent with top class customer service and knowledge.
This fantastic optometry practice gives you 1st class service, in a relaxed yet professional setting with expert help. I’d highly recommend to anyone needing an eye exam, new glasses (or contacts), or has concerns over eye health. I’ve got one set of eyes so I want them looked after by the best! Very lucky to have access to Valarie Jerome Optometrists and would absolutely recommend them.
