I had a very positive experience with Pinehurst Care Centre. The staff are caring, compassionate, and always treat residents with dignity and respect. The environment is clean, welcoming, and well-managed, which gives families real peace of mind.

I was most impressed by Pinehurst and all whom I met there. Everyone I met, including the Registered Manager, was positive, enthusiastic and delightful. During the course of my mother’s stay there , I was particularly struck by the positive response to difficult behaviour on my mother’s part. There was no word of criticism. The immediate reaction was “What can we do to help?” It was accepted that people with advanced Alzheimer’s can’t control their behaviour and our job is to help them cope. I came away with a feeling of great relief that we had indeed found the right place for my mother to spend her future.

I carried out an audit at Pinehurst Care Centre yesterday and would like to express my appreciation to the team. Although the Deputy Home Care Manager, Emilia, was not informed of my visit in advance, she was incredibly welcoming, as were the rest of her team. Their professionalism, openness, and support throughout the audit were greatly appreciated.
The home itself is lovely—clean, well-maintained, and clearly cared for with pride. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and it’s evident that the staff are committed to providing a high standard of care.

My mum has been residing at Pinehurst for around 2 years following a stint in hospital, we knew she couldn’t go home as her confusion and overall wellbeing was getting worse. I must say she and us as a family are very happy with Pinehurst, it is an old building bit so clean and inviting…the staff from the reception staff, maintenance chap, cleaners, carers, activities folk to management are absolutely amazing…the carers are second to none with their empathy, loving nature. It’s honestly refreshing to know mum is cared for as part of a family..would 10000% recommend this amazing place..visitors of residents are made to feel extremely welcomed
