Where do I start! I rarely write reviews BUT when I feel this good about something I just have too!
I literally could write a book instead of this review of “positive experiences” since my 1st phone call, then visit(s), then the move of my Mum to Warren Lodge.
My initial research into care homes locally involved seeing several care homes for comparison purposes, Warren Lodge (based on the carehome.co.uk 5-star ratings) was already the front runner in my head. Then, I remembered a childhood friend and his two sisters a couple of years ago saying their Mother had Dementia and was is a GREAT care home! I then called Denise, one of the sisters, to check which home it was, needless to say it was of course Warren Lodge… her words to me were “Keith, you MUST get your Mum into Warren Lodge, we had tried another home initailly, we weren`t happy with it and decided to move her, then we found Warren Lodge and the care she got was leaps and bounds above the rest and we looked at loads of other care homes”
Goce (Care Home Manager) and ALL his team are “REAL CARING” people, not just the carers themselves! Whether it is the carers, “backroom” staff to senior staff and even Dragi, the Buildings & Grounds Maintenance guy… they all will take time to speak to the residents and will offer a helping hand if needed
Another “unexpected” experience I had was the support Goce gave ME, knowing and understanding the worry/pressure I was under in this whole process before the move, during and ever since the move for Mum. He guided me throughout the process and was honest about the “good and bad bits/bumps in the road” that I would endure! I truly believe his caring and positive nature radiates through to all his staff.
I have made it my duty to my Mum to learn about Dementia and try to give her the best final years to her life. She is 97 ½ years “YOUNG” and quite a character.
My experience and communications with ALL the staff at Warren Lodge have been excellent. They are very good at what they do. For me I feel it is very much a two-way scenario having your Mum or loved one in a care home you can help with valuable information to ensure certain “little BUT very important things” for your Mum are put in place.
There is so much more I could write but, just quite simply based on my experience they are the best care home I could find

I cannot thank everyone at Warren Lodge enough for the exceptional care, kindness, and compassion they showed my mom, Irina, during the last two years of her life.
From the very beginning, the staff made her feel safe, respected, and truly at home. One of the greatest challenges was that my mom did not speak English, but this was never a barrier. The team always found ways to communicate with her, support her in her own language whenever possible, and make sure she understood what was happening. Their patience, kindness, and willingness to go the extra mile gave her comfort, dignity, and a real sense of belonging.
I would especially like to thank the manager, Goce Kostadinovski, whose leadership created such a warm, caring, and professional environment. His support, compassion, and dedication were evident throughout my mum’s stay and gave our family complete confidence that she was receiving the very best care.
Every member of staff treated my mum with genuine respect, warmth, and kindness. They always took the time to understand her individual needs, making sure she was comfortable, happy, and cared for with dignity. The love and compassion they showed her meant more to our family than words can express.
The home itself was always clean, welcoming, and beautifully maintained, with a friendly atmosphere that truly felt like a home rather than simply a care facility. It was clear that everyone working there genuinely cared about the residents and took pride in providing outstanding care.
Although losing my mom has been incredibly difficult, I find great comfort in knowing that her final years were spent in such a loving, supportive, and respectful environment. Our family will always be deeply grateful to everyone at Warren Lodge for the care they gave Irina and for the kindness they showed us throughout her time there.
I wholeheartedly recommend Warren Lodge to anyone looking for exceptional care for a loved one. Thank you to Goce and the entire team for your professionalism, compassion, and humanity. You made an enormous difference to my mom’s life, and we will never forget your kindness.

I have had the pleasure of visiting this beautiful, homely and exceptionally well-organised care centre over the past year while volunteering at several of their Life Enrichment events. Every visit has been a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is always warm, welcoming and uplifting, and the team consistently demonstrate dedication, compassion, professionalism and genuine kindness.
It is clear that residents’ wellbeing, happiness and sense of purpose are at the heart of everything they do. The staff are supportive, caring and friendly, going above and beyond to create a positive environment for residents, families and visitors alike.

Warren Lodge is not just a care home, it’s a home that cares.
It was an emotional time when our family had to make the choice to admit dad to a home. We were all very sceptical and wondered how my mum would cope, however Warren Lodge and all of the staff exceeded our expectations. Dad only resided for a month and within that time the care and emotional support we received was excellent. We were lucky enough to spend New Years Eve with dad and enjoyed singing and dancing to the dementia disco. 3 days before dad sadly passed away all our family celebrated his 90th birthday. The staff put on an amazing buffet and decorated the dining room to accommodate everyone. This was above and beyond expectations. They also arranged for a mention on the local radio. I can’t praise the staff enough for all of their support and care throughout dads time with them.

Warren Lodge is simply the best care home you could possibly find.
I have experience of two care homes that my Mum was at, and five that I went to see for my Dad. Warren Lodge, the manager and the team, immediately stood out and has been beyond hopes and expectations.
I’m my eulogy at my father’s funeral I stated that Goce (the manager) is a pearl of a human being who creates the most amazing and loving atmosphere.
The staff are all equally brilliant. They create happy times, memories and genuinely do care for the residents. I have discovered some of the greatest souls there and made many great friends among the staff.
Upon my father’s passing, there were tears from both staff and some residents alike. I have told several people, when looking around, that if they choose Warren Lodge they will not be disappointed.
