My grandmother moved over to Lyndhurst from the sister home The Grange, as her neighbour was moving in, she’s loving it so far & enjoying the intimate atmosphere. Appreciate them accommodating her & our request. Can’t recommend either home enough.

My Grandma Doreen was a resident at Lyndhurst care home, we knew after the first visit that this was exactly the place we had been looking for.
From the moment she moved in, until her final days the staff at Lyndhurst cared for her as if she was their own family member. They got to know her mischievous personality and she was so fond of them all. As family members we were made to feel so welcome no matter what time we visited or called and any worries or concerns we had were always taken care of. My Gran felt safe and happy there always and enjoyed her many chats with “the girls” who gave her so much of their time and attention.
Thank you for looking after our wonderful Grandma with such love and care, it meant so much to us to know she was so well looked after when we were not around.

It was just over 8 yrs ago when Mum first came to Lyndhurst and I can highly recommend it. The standard of care and the dedication of the staff has been consistently high. Mum suffers from dementia which has steadily got worse over the years. At each stage when mums care needs have changed the staff have stepped up to the mark and adjusted to suit, giving her the attention she needs to make the twilight of her life as pleasant as possible. The home has a very happy atmosphere. Dianne, the manager and her team are always very polite, caring welcoming and friendly when we visit, whilst maintaining a professional approach to the job at hand. This has been highlighted in the way the pandemic has been handled at the home over the last year. Along with telephone and video calls and the conversion of a room to accommodate safe visits when allowed, the home has maintained a COVID free environment, whilst maintaining good contact with relatives, which is to be commended.
Via Facebook we have been able to follow the activities of the staff and residents throughout the year watching the in-house concerts and shows performed by the staff. The many photos posted show the happy environment the home provides. I would not hesitate in recommending The Lyndhurst Residential Care Home.
