I was really taken by the ethos of Cedar Lodge when I visited. The whole family feel and involvement of residents was very noticeable.Each time I’ve arrived I’ve been with a greeted lovely, welcoming reception, by all staff. They are friendly and helpful. My relative has only been here a week but is settled and calm. Her room is well appointed, and her personal pictures were put up very quickly so she has familiar references close by.

My mum is currently in respite care at Cedar Lodge. The staff are friendly and professional, the food is excellent, there are plenty of activities on offer, the garden is lovely, the rooms are great. The manager is very open to feedback and is committed to maintaining very high standards within the home. Staff are also very supportive of family members who have a relative living or staying at Cedar Lodge. If you are looking for excellent care – including nursing care – for a loved one, I would definitely recommend that you visit Cedar Lodge.

I find that Cedar Lodge Care Home is set in a beautiful picturesque village called Whitchurch on Thames. In my view. it is beautifully constructed, giving lots of space, home from home comforts, such as a welcoming bistro style area for people living in the home, to have a hot drink, cake and a chat, with friends and family, there are lots of different activities such as painting, singing, baking, exercises that are fun to do, and so much more that is organised. I love the public events we organise, so we get the community of Whitchurch and Pangbourne involved, and people come from other areas too. The care home is very well supported with a brilliant professional, supportive care team. I love the beautiful designed living room area, with comfortable chairs, to read, watch films, play cards I find the garden really inviting with lots of seating areas to sit, down and relax, and enjoy the fresh air. I especially love how it is really is living home from home, enjoying friends and family’s companionship. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, with everything you would want in a room. The food is delicious, home cooked food. Very clean and spacious. I find it a beautiful Care home!

Beautiful home, really lovely kind caring team, lovely atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone. When I attended an open day the residents were all well cared for and happy!! I would 100% recommend to anyone!

The transformation of Cedar Lodge Care Home is amazing. The home has been beautifully styled and thoughtfully designed with people in mind.
From the moment you walk in, the team are warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. The people I met all seemed happy, relaxed, and comfortable with both the team and their surroundings. A truly lovely environment.
