Salvete Care Home

I am deeply disappointed and shocked by the lack of care and professionalism from Salvete. My family and I constantly warned them that my grandmother’s medical condition was serious, but we were ignored, dismissed, and called ‘overprotective’ or ‘overthinkers’. They failed to follow basic instructions, failed to call the ambulance when needed, and showed a complete lack of empathy. I have already reported them to the Local Authority Safeguarding Team. Avoid this agency if you want your loved ones to be safe.
My grandmother survived after a massive stroke since November, and died after 33 days in Salvete care home in April …..

We would like to thank Salvete for the care of our father who passed away last weekend. Throughout his time with Salvete he was treated with kindness, dignity and respect by all the staff as were other residents who we saw. Having ridden the roller coaster of dementia this past year we were lucky to have found him a place here (certainly compared to the place the council put him in initially when he left hospital). Ignore the review by John Fredrickson below, if he had any idea of how hard the staff work here and how empathetic and caring the staff are when it comes to caring for the residents he would be embarrassed with his “review”.

Fantastic and welcoming, staff made our visit special, though extremely sad, we left feeling our loved one was in good hands with dedicated people. We were lucky to meet Mr Bhatt the owner who equally showed an interest in us and spent time chatting to us.
COVID safety was high on the agenda at Salvete and made us feel safe, so important these days.
We ring the care home daily and the staff are always accommodating ensuring we get to speak to our loved one.
Thanking everyone at Salvete care home who work very hard to ensure residents have the best quality of life.
