I entertain on piano regularly at St Thomas and I always find it a welcoming place . There is very good connection between staff and residents and the staff help me particularly make that connection in my music sessions – lots of smiles on residents’ faces!

St Thomas is a warm, friendly, welcoming and happy care home. Mum became a resident in June and I was very stressed because I knew she would take a long while to settle because of her extremely anxious personality. I needn’t have worried because each member of staff from management, nursing, caring, housekeeping, activities and maintenance have all been so kind and patient with her. Nothing is too much trouble for any of them and I can see she is very well looked after. Family members are warmly welcomed and it is a pleasure to visit. I would highly recommend this home.

My Dad has only been at St Thomas’s for 3 weeks having been discharged from hospital. He is completely thriving. The staff are amazing. Very positive and caring. Constantly smiling and upbeat. Dad is happy and clearly enjoying his experiences. The environment is beautiful. It is obvious that relationships in the staff team are very respectful and strong. I had lunch with Dad yesterday and it was excellent. As a family, it is tough putting your dad in a nursing home and it brings with it feelings of guilt. However, I feel that we have given Dad the best that we can and exactly what he deserves. Thank you to all at St Thomas’s.
