My partner, who has Alzheimer’s, spent his first two separate periods of respite here in August. I was incredibly worried in the weeks leading up to his first stay. Hannah reassured me and helped me with the practical and emotional aspects. The handover went really smoothly. Someone was waiting to greet him, sorry I don’t remember her name. We went into the lounge and David showed her his memory book. I left them together. They phoned me to let me know he had settled. Then sent me photos of David enjoying the activities.
This reassured me and enabled me to have a relaxing break.
I could not be happier with the members of staff and the activities team for making David’s stays such happy ones.

My Mum was a resident here, for a very short period of time, before she peacefully passed away. All of the staff here, were more than amazing, they couldn’t do more for us if they tried. Mum’s clothes were washed, ironed and returned within 12 hours, the refreshments staff were incredibly generous, making sure we too was catered for, during the last few days. The carers, nurses and manager were warm, friendly and open. If you’re looking for the perfect home for your loved one, this is it, go and visit for yourself.

This lovely nursing home has given my friend a new lease of life. The staff are all so kind, considerate & caring – a refreshing change from the previous nursing home she was in.
She looks clean and cared for, her room is kept immaculately clean, her clothes are laundered & ironed before being hung up and the well being team encourage her to participate in the various daily activities on offer.
The home is well run and has an open door policy. My friend is responding so well to being treated as a human being again and all of the staff at Singleton play their part in this.
I cannot praise them or thank them enough.

From the minute we contacted Julie at the nursing home she welcomed us. The care from all the staff was first class and we couldn’t have wished more for our mum. She was treated like a Queen and nothing was a trouble for anything she needed. I would highly recommend Singleton Nursing Home.

I just rang to tell them a member of their staff is supposed to be self isolating (as another where they live has tested positive for Covid and the member of staff has gone to work regardless/ knowing this). The first time they hung up on me and the second didn’t seem interested despite it being very clear about when, why and for how long to self isolate.
