My Mother started living at Woodlands in December 2024 .
From living on her own for 18 years we were worried about how she might adapt to living with others.
From day one she really seemed to settle in . She later explained that she feels reassured and safe . This is exactly what my husband and I were hoping for .
We visit regularly as we live in Fleet .
Great staff and care !!!
Having full time staff is a huge benefit.
Everyone at the home goes that extra mile .
Mum is so happy having made new friends and she is enjoying the activities provided.
The atmosphere is lovely and everyone is welcoming and friendly.

Woodlands really is a lovely care home, both my parents have been there since August 2024 & they are very happy there. I feel happy in the knowledge that they are very well looked after & I don’t need to worry anymore, as they are in very capable hands. I can visit at any time during the day/ evening, without having to make an appointment.
The staff really are wonderful, caring, friendly & hard working. There are always activities going on during the day, along with armchair exercises in the morning. There are outings to various different places too, which is great for the residents to have something to look forward to.
It is very clean & nice & bright, the gardens are beautiful, very well looked after, stunning, colourful flowers in bloom at the moment & lots of tall shady trees, that offer some respite on these hot summer days.
They also have a varied menu every day, prepared by their in house chef, where you can also eat with your relative if you let them know in advance.
I really can’t recommend Woodlands enough. The staff make everyone feel special & welcome.

Mum moved into Woodlands just over a year ago from Cornwall after Dad passed away unexpectedly after 70years marriage. She had been there for over 40 years & left many friends behind sadly. Mum took a while to settle in however the friendly & caring staff understood her needs & helped her settle in. She has her own en suite bedroom with an electric bed & also pressure pads for nursing support. Mum in nearly blind so had additional needs which have been managed for her needs.
Over the year she has had health issues, she is now 94, however these have been managed well with doctor & nursing management. Her care plan is discussed with us & regularly reviewed to ensure she has the right medication.
Mum was very active before her eyesight deteriorated & now she does get a little frustrated about it but does get involved in the many activities provided by the home. We did have to buy her a wheelchair to make it easier for her mobility in the home & especially for when we take her out. Btw she does go out on visits with the care home to quite often.
Mum now also gets many family visitors she rarely saw before & we go at least twice a week now. Family is everything to her so she gets to see her grandchildren quite often.
The care home staff are very welcoming to all our family & they are always on hand providing a 5* service not just for Mum but all the residents & guests that visit.
We would highly recommend Woodlands family to anyone considering care for their loved ones.

Woodlands has been my Nan in laws home for nearly 2 years, everytime my family have visited we have had warm welcomes, staff have all been very friendly. Nan has received brilliant care, support and kindness from all. Engaging activities every week and days out on occasions have kept her entertained. Lovely family days also that have been provided have been excellent. She has been very happy there. Thank you Woodlands

This is a wonderful home,so pleased we chose Woodlands
My mum has been here almost two yrs. The staff are so efficient and friendly. Mum loves chatting with them.
Food is good,plenty of choice,and the chefs are happy to adapt meals to suit residents needs.
Lovely gardens,plenty of seating and outdoor activities.
