My mum stayed at Wey Valley House for 2 weeks respite care after having a hip replacement. We found the home to be so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for all the amazing staff there who always had a smile for you. Her room was spacious and had a lovely outside balcony overlooking the river. The food was also very good and my mum had a very happy stay there. If we ever need respite care for her again this would be the home we would choose. A massive thank you to all the staff.

This weekend, we had a family party to celebrate my mum’s 91st birthday party at Wey Valley House.
A big thankyou for letting us have the party for Mum out on the grass, it was lovely
Thanks so much for the use of the barbeque. We had everything we needed, It was perfect !!
It was very special for us all, but made all the more special from the staff at the home,
Yvonne brought in her dogs, Gizmo and Wilson, and they stayed with us most of that day, which was lovely.
So nice that the staff popped in and out, to celebrate with us, and before and at end of shifts. I bet that doesn’t happen at other homes !
All in All a very special day for Mum’s 91st birthday celebration, with her actual birthday being today !!
Everybody that comes to see Mum at Wey Valley, comments on how lovely it is there, and how nice and friendly the saff are.
An understatement is to say you are making a difference.
I look back to less than a year ago, before Mum was resident with you, and think of our worries and stresses we had at that time, and need to make the point of how you don’t just help the resident, but whole families as well.
Top work Wey Valley.

A great 1 month respite care recovery stay for my mother following her 2 months in hospital.
The staff are excellent, dedicated, supportive and responsive. All aspects you’d want from a care home. The price is also very competitive.

My mum, Doreen, had two weeks respite care at Wey Valley House whilst waiting for her permanent care home place in Reading to be readied. All stall from the manager downwards were welcoming, caring and friendly. Mum felt completely at home and didn’t want to leave. So thank you, Michelle amd all the wonderful staff at Wey Valley House.
