I have used specsavers for years and many different branches, but Cirencester is hands down the best branch. From walking through the door my first time, to the contact lenses review with the optician, who was knowledgeable and detailed. To the absolute first class service I received from Hollie while choosing new glasses. Hollies patience and knowledge made what ive always felt embarrassed doing (choosing new glasses), a hugely enjoyable experience

Got an appointment quickly. I didn’t have to wait to speak to a member of staff when I arrived or to have my sight test. My test was done quickly and efficiently. All staff were very helpful.

Post cataract eye test went well. Nothing is ever 100% perfect because the young optician had never heard nor seen a pair of half rim/moon reading glasses. They found 1 pair in the shop for £90 (frame only). The usual ‘Specsavers up-sell’! Given that my new prescription is for reading glasses only & both eyes have the same strength prescription for lenses, a pair of ‘off the shelf’ shop glasses is suffice. I bought 3 pairs for £14.24 from a well known internet site (or should it be sight!) and they are fabulous.

The employees were really professional, excellent service. However, the experience when performing all the tests to my 4yo were a bit tricky because she couldn’t reach properly to the machines. There were cushions but even with them she struggled. I will recommend to re-think the accessibility for kids. The person who did the test (I think it was Rosie) was really friendly and my daughter was at ease while doing her first eye test.
