I had these wonderful guys refurbish my wet room and I am delighted. Simon came out to discuss things with my OT & the council and then the work began.
Krystian arrived and was absolutely charming and was a Trojan he never stopped working & apart from the electrics, that Manchin did , he did all the work !!! Raph popped in as he was the supervisor but to be honest he just came to touch base and check on things .
Manchin was also a delight & he just has a couple of bits to finish in the loft which he will do tomorrow.
When it came to any queries I had Krystian answered them always with a smile & was helpful & attentive when it came to rail placement.
I would highly recommend them and as far as I’m concerned everybody needs a Krystian and I wish all fitters were as conscientious and hard working !

I do not usually post reviews but I have finally got round to doing one for SCBS for a job completed in Jun 2021 because it is so well deserved. SCBS did a complete replacement job (see pictures) in our downstairs bathroom from design to build which included plumbing and fitting of shower, lavatory, basin and units with new waterproof flooring and ceramic tiling. The SCBS team consisted of Simon who did the design work, Raff who project managed the installation and ran around getting materials and Christian who did most of the building works (everything really, except the flooring). They have done a fantastic job at reasonable cost and we could not be happier with the final result. We found them all to be courteous, professional and very reliable. Raff was always very quick to respond whenever we had any queries and was patient when we changed our minds about items already delivered. Christian hardly stopped working and his varied skills are admirable. The quality of work is truly excellent and we would not hesitate to use SCBS again. Highly recommended.

i think of SBCS when it rains! The flat roof lasted just past the 12 month warranty (I have a toothbrush with a longer guarantee) and each time it rains with wind, water penetrates through the ceiling into the kitchen. The work was completed in February 2017
We contacted the owner of SBCS recently, however he said they did not have the capacity to visit or be involved in a solution and that the 12 month guarantee has expired. If the work had been completed correctly in the first place, in 2017 we would not have needed to contact them.
We have had the roof relaid recently at a cost of £3000 by another builder less than four years after installation by SBCS.
You decide if a flat roof should last longer than 12 months before the rain ruins the kitchen beneath it.

These guys were excellent always on time turned up when they said they were going to clean up after themselves and ended up with a lovely bathroom which I can use these guys are highly recommended trust and I do a great job
