My wonderful Grandma was placed here after we looked all over for somewhere to support her dementia as was not allowed to return home from hospital after a bad fall.
She remained very frightened and confused for the duration of her stay. Some of the staff were genuinely lovely, attentive and patient. I did however on one occassion witness one of the carers being extremely abusive and bullying towards her. I lodged a complaint, but the management negotiated hard and encouraged me to accept it was just one bad egg. The said staff member though continued to be employed, which in hindsight I should have stood my ground and demanded a full investigation. That horrible person was a bully and would have been better suited to a job packing boxes on a factory line with no human contact.
Sadly my grandmother deteriorated fast in there and died after only 2 months at Park View.
Plus points – cafe with activities for the residents.
Facilities new (for now)
Lots of security to prevent any wanderers roaming free

My husband has recently had a week respite at ParkView. I am more than delighted with the care and consideration given to my husband’s needs. Nothing was too much trouble no matter how small.I will not hesitate to use ParkView in the future. My daughter came with me and we were made very welcome. I cannot praise everyone concerned in making his say enjoyable . I highly recommend Park View . Thank you so very much

Lovely Lucy and Luke have been organising activities at Park View for years and make ParkView feel like a family. They add so much fun and laughter and always going the extra mile to look after every resident.

The very first time I walked into Park View care home, I thought it was an hotel, i have to ask the receptionist is this Park View and she said yes, all because of the layout and the services the service users received. The Manger and the management are very welcoming, the staffs are accommodative too,Including the Domestic staffs. They all work as a team and they also promote equality and diversity among all the service users.
