Disgusted!!! . . . Was walking past the golf course to try and access nature with my two daughters. We saw three golfers ahead and I held my children back for safety. They saw us coming so we proceeded along the walking path. One of the golfers hit the ball towards us and nearly hit us at high speed. When I approached I told them it was so dangerous and why didn’t they wait when they saw us . . . One of the men shouted terrible sexist abuse at me. It was a horrible situation to be in in front of my two daughters and very intimidating. . . Husband spoke to the golf club in person and was told management would give me a call . . . Didn’t happen. Chased it up a week or two and later was told it was highly unacceptable that we hadn’t heard back and they would contact us . . . Two more weeks have passed still nothing! Message now received loud and clear – apparently they don’t care if you are verbally abused infront of your children by one of their members . . . . Clearly money talks and that’s all that matters . . . Unsafe and highly unprofessional, extremely disappointed. On a seperate note, why the council let them have the land so close to the path to be able to access nature is beyond me. Anyway I haven’t posted this review lightly, don’t think I should be having to continually chase up this place for an apology, ridiculous!

Fantastic venue for my 70th birthday party. The venue itself is an elevated position overlooking the golf course, which is great. The staff were super friendly and efficient organising our event. The carvery we chose was perfect with many of our friends commenting on how good the food was. Highly recommended.

Great course and very friendly welcome. The bacon roll was excellent. We did have some heavy rain for a short while and some of the greens flooded but they drained reasonably quickly.
Would definitely return.
