I visit Lavender Lodge every other week to lead music workshops with the residents. From the moment I’m buzzed in, I feel so welcomed and valued, like part of the family! The residents are always ready for me and are so enthusiastic to join in and make the most of the sessions. It’s evident that they are well supported and looked after by the wonderful activities team and carers…so all we need to focus on is having fun together. It’s a highlight of my week to come to Lavender Lodge and I always take my time packing away so we can have lots of chats afterwards!

Great place staff are lovely and caring! Only downside is I saw the manager working and he doesn’t seem like a very good boss the staff look nervous and uncomfortable around him

Today was my father’s 97 birthday and the staff were fantastic. Suzie had decorated the room beautifully and made sure we had everything that we needed. The room itself could have been in our home – not institutionalised at all. It was perfect.

My nan was moved here in May 2023, and I can honestly say the transformation in her has been fantastic. My nan has vascular dementia & has lost mobility and needs extra TLC. Lavender Lodge Care Home have all been fantastic in settling her in and treating her with the care and respect she deserves.
Highly recommend this care home for any loved one.

Lavender Lodge has a new Home Manager in position leading and supporting the team, and the care delivery continues to go from strength to strength.
