I would like to share my experience as a Live in Care Professional working for Homeinstead Farnborough, Fleet, Farnham. I started my Live in Care journey in Dec 2023 coming over to the UK from South Africa after extensive interviewing and conversations with Homeinsteads Live in Care Manager who really took the time to get to know me and give me all the information I needed about the job role. From the moment I landed in the UK I was supported with fantastic training, open communication and clients that were perfect for me. This company really understands about matching the right carer with the client. I have quickly learnt to trust that process, as they always seem to get it right giving both myself and the client our best experience. Support is always there from the whole Office team whatever the challenge. I am proud to work for Homeinstead and the quality of care that we provide for our clients. I continue to travel to the UK working for 3 to 6 months then going home to South Africa to spend time with my family. When I am home, my Live in Care Manager checks in on me and keeps me updated so that I always feel part of the team and look forward to coming back, it really is a great place to work!

From first contact to ongoing communication and care, Home Instead have been amazing. They have arranged carers for my mother at short notice, but ensured she has a consistent team who are right for her and who genuinely care about her wellbeing. We have had to make tweaks and changes to the schedule of care as we go and the management and scheduling team have been incredibly supportive each time we have had to do this. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them and it’s been a huge comfort knowing that my mother has support on a daily basis with medication and meals as well as valuable companionship.
