Avoid, they neglected my mother left her sitting in feaces for three days or more and left her half dressed with a pad and underwear halfway down her thighs , even worse they did not provide or give my mother a blanket, no attempt was made to clean or bathe my mother. the staff also left my mother in a room with no drinks or with no windows open during the heatwave, again staff did nothing when they was there, following day my mother was still left in the same position for 24 hrs and
and we found her half hanging out of the bed, the staff did not introduce them self on arrival, The careers was very surprised when I turned up and see what was going on, the staff and company was removed amedeatly, this is not the first time we had issues with this company,

An absolute disgrace… turning up late, ringing my mum telling her you’re going to increase the price, don’t ring back when you say you will… avoid this company, really unreliable

Have left my 101 year old mum sitting in a dirty pad for 6 hours. Carers were supposed to arrive around 8:30pm to clean her and put her to bed. Midnight and still no one had shown up. Finally had care at 12:20 am. We were informed she had been dropped from one rota and placed as an emergency stop at the end of a different carers rota. After asking the previous carer why she was dropped from his rota, he said he didn’t know as he was available to come out to her at 8:30pm and they didn’t tell him why she was moved. After multiple complaints from us to First City and difficulties with a couple carers, we’ve been moved to a different care company. It’s our opinion that the quality of care from First City is quite low and feel some of the carers would benefit from re-training. Hopefully they will make improvements for future and current clients.

First of all id like to say SOME of the carers are amazing.
My mum had just come out of Hospital and had 24 hour care but when her care package dropped to 4 half hour visits a day OMG what a shambles most of them were either far to early or very late no common sense 😳 it’s not the carers fault it’s the company just like most large firms they only care about money

I agree with a lot of comments..first city only cares about money ! Not organised well at all ! The carers do the best they can, but the actual company has no idea how to run a business or how to give the best care!
