In my personal opinion, pretty unethical, did not listen to my instructions, arrogant (imposing his view as he’s an experienced solicitor vs listening to the extremely important context) and severe lack of attention to detail (the partner on my case “lost” over 10 of my emails with important instructions that were ignored in his spam – which led to clauses I did not want in documents I had to sign). After dismissing this firm I defended myself with the strategy the partner at Fenton Elliott had advised against and I won (was still left with a hefty bill though, of course). Appalling and left me feeling so alone and frustrated. They erased my Google review twice. Your lawyer is supposed to support & help you and not the other way around.
