Most definitely a ‘five star’ review for Falkland View Care Home. I have supplied piano music to the home for quite a number of years and am always pleased to be invited back at several times during the year. The whole team works very hard to create a lovely atmosphere at Falkland Grange and a huge effort is made to bring what I call ‘the outside world’ into the home to keep the residents entertained. I really couldn’t speak more highly of the home and am greatly looking forward to being back to play the piano for the residents very soon! 🎹

I had the pleasure of providing entertainment for the residents of Falklands Grange Care Home. What a great atmosphere!
Lovely residents, aided by great staff, and all wrapped up in a wonderful home.
I look forward returning in due course

Mum moved into Falkland Grange care home last October and she settled in so much better than we ever thought she would. There are a number of reasons for this. The building and facilities are excellent and make an amazing first impression. However, the friendliness of the entire team has been a very pleasant surprise and has made mum feel at home and settled.
There are a lot of different and interesting events laid on for residents. On my visits to see mum, I have seen some wonderful Halloween, Rememberence Day, and Christmas events as well as visits by musicians, a range of animals, baking contests, and loads more. This week I was invited to join mum at a Burns Night lunch. It was exceptional, and the effort that the team made to make the event feel special was amazing. Mum found the whole experience quite magical which was lovely to see.
These positive experiences are a constant reminder to us that mum is in the best possible place.

I have been working with the Falkland Grange team creating motivational art for their care home. The facilities there are 5 star but it’s the staff who more importantly are 5 star. They truly care about the residents and that’s what you notice most, it’s genuine and from the heart. If I have no hesitation in recommending them.

My experience with Falkland Grange Care Home was always very positive. They correctly assessed my partner’s changing needs over time and gave her what I can only describe as loving care 24/7. When I visited my partner, all levels of management and staff were always friendly and willing to help, provide
information, deal with any issues and discuss any matters. They also guided me as to what I should do to provide for my partner.
The home provides an extensive programme of internal and external interesting events and activities for patients and their relatives to take part in and enjoy, e.g. music. Bereaved relatives are also invited to discussion sessions where they can meet a variety of speakers on different topics.
The home is basically clean and well-maintained. There is a garden for residents and relatives to use for getting out into the open air.
There is a doctor’s surgery and pharmacy next door to the home’s site.
