I am very grateful that Dohatech has helped in facilitating independence and access to the wider community for our young family member with complex needs and profound non-verbal Autism. Very proud that this week he managed a trip to spoons and a bus journey home enabled by the support from the wonderful care team.
The whole team person centred approach has been exceptional in supporting our young person and family as a whole. They have enabled not just the young person but myself as carer. I now have reliable respite to pursue my own independence and opportunities.
My young person has extreme anxiety of which effects his engagement with others I am pleased to say he is happy to engage with his cohort of carers that understand him well.
