Cannot recommend. Different carers all the time and terrible communication.

Cotts Care are not a reliable care company. We made a complaint to them regarding my mother’s carers not behaving professionally at work, using their personal phones whilst performing personal care on my mother. My father had to continually monitor the carers when they were there as they would scare my mother, having her head hanging off the bed whilst performing personal care on her . One carer even dropped the phone on my mother during a visit trying to show the other carer pictures of puppies in the middle of changing my mother. When i complained to the manager on the telephone we were threatened by the Manager that our care package would be withdrawn. There was a complete breakdown in communication with the manager who does not behave professionally or follow her own method statement. They eventually withdrew our care package due to a breakdown in communication leaving my paralysed mother and elderly father with no care package at 4.50pm on a Friday evening. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for Quality care. We are over two weeks now with no care package in place in a desperate situation. I have reported them to the relevant authorities.
