Lockdown Legs
Beautiful, bright and modern home. Staff are helpful and residents all see happy and settled

My mother has been a resident at Braemar Lodge for over 6 years, receiving nursing care after having a stroke.
The team, managed by Jackie, provide excellent care.
We cannot fault the care that mum receives. As we don’t live locally, it is a comfort to know that mum is getting the love and care she deserves in our absence.
The home has recently been expanded. Both the gardens and decor of the interior are stunning.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Braemar Lodge to anyone looking for care for themselves or their family members.

My 99 year old father Douglas Parish ( along with several other residents) was moved to a new room in the new extension to Braemar Lodge today. The whole process was done with the minimum disruption and stress to him. Extra staff ftom colton care had been drafted in and all worked hard to pack and move the contents of his old room to the new one…always with a smile on their faces. Braemar Lodge staff including Jackie came to see him several times to make sure he was has happy. This truly is a remarkable place. Alison Larkham.

Thank you Jackie and Tanya for the invite to Braemar Lodge Care home, I thoroughly enjoyed the Business breakfast group and learning about all the wonderful facilities the home has to offer. What a beautiful home and observing staff working who showed care and a real passion for the residents they were working with. Thank you all and keep up the good work.

My mother moved here after a stroke and a miserable time in hospital. The transformation has been remarkable. She is full of beans and has a busy, if restricted life due to her stroke. During lockdown the home have made sure that we can keep in touch either through Zoom or by meetings through the perspex divider. The staff are wonderful and the accommodation and gardens are equally well maintained. We visited many places before opting for Braemar. It was the obvious choice.
