Bourne Wood Manor is a lovely care home. We attended the Christmas market and it was a wonderful event. Well done to Annie who organised the event and did a brilliant job. All the staff were very caring and welcoming.

From the very first call with Annie to the assessment with Annie and Zoe the Dementia Care Manager to admission we experienced kindness and professionalism like never before. Having had a previous bad experience in the care sector and not having been able to access the right care for our loved one suffering from Alzheimer’s our expectations were low. Bourne Wood Manor exceeded all expectations and surprised us in every good way. Well being of the resident and family is at the top of their agenda and they simply could not have done any more. Communications led by Annie were proactive and swift, the welcome from Annie and all the care team was warm and we immediately felt in safe, experienced and professional hands with Zoe’s exceptional team. Julia on reception was helpful and supportive. The entire team were expecting and welcoming of our love one and so very kind to us as his family. We will be forever grateful to have found Bourne Wood and these lovely people and feel very blessed.

As as you walk into Bourne Wood Manor you feel the warmth and friendly atmosphere. Residents are sitting in the bistro enjoying themselves having a chat with a cup of tea. Staff go above and beyond to make the residence feel at home and all their needs are met a very professional team runs Bourne Wood Manor.

I recently visited Bourne Wood Manor for their event, in particular their valentine day flower arranging and the afternoon was wonderful. All the staff are kind and caring and always make sure you feel welcome. All the residents were smiling and having a lovely time. I will be back for their next event!

I visited my mother at Bourne Wood Manor recently for the first time. I spent a week going in and out to see her daily. I am very impressed with care she receives. Her ensuite room is lovely. The food is very good and I was able to dine with her in the Bistro area. All the staff were very friendly and took the time to talk. There is a wide range of daily activities and outings for the residents and the activities staff are very enthusiastic and encouraging. The care staff were very patient and attentive. It is a huge relief to know she is being well taken care of there.
