I recently attended Bourley Grange’s Market Day as a stall holder and what a fabulous day it was! The sun was shining and there were plenty of warm smiles all around. When I arrived they were doing an exercise class in their chairs and they seemed to be having fun! I loved meeting some of the residents whom I treated to a free hand pamper. I also met a number of the carers and staff and all were very polite, friendly and caring – as they should be! I was particularly impressed with the chef who came out to find a 90+ year old resident who was so enjoying the spa treatment with her daughter that she hadn’t actually had her lunch. Even though lunch was over came up he wanted to make sure she hadn’t forgotten and offered to make her something she’d like even though she said she wasn’t really hungry! I’m looking forward to returning to their next market day, although I am returning today to give some residents a pamper session while reminiscing about their lives. What a joy and honour.
Treasure Box Parties
We had an excellent time at the recent Bourley Grange Family Fun day! Seeing loads of stalls raising money for Phyllis Tuckwell was brilliant. Staff were friendly and accommodating, everyone seemed like they were having a great time, we can’t wait to attend the Christmas market!

We came to a movie event on Sunday with the children and it was great, the home was super clean and the residents looked well looked after.
It was great to see a home that bring the community together and will be definitely recommending the home to family and friends.
Big thank you to the customer relations manager Chelsea for arrange the event, also taking the time to give us a brioche and answer any questions that we had about the home.

The staff at Bourley Grange really do go above and beyond to make the residents feel at home. And this week they gave my Dad a truly special day – a Chelsea fan since he could walk his dream of returning to Stamford Bridge was helped come true by the staff at Bourley Grange. In Dad’s own words:
“I would like to thank the staff of Bourley Grange for organising a wonderful day out to the home of Chelsea FC.
It’s over 60 years since I last watched a match at Stamford Bridge and the place has changed beyond belief.
Many thanks to Chelsea H for organising it and a special thanks to Sajal and Paul for looking after me.

I met Jenny Walker- Home Administration Advisor at the lovely Bourley Grange care home, we had transported a new resident to the home. We are EMA Patient Transport, a private ambulance service. I would like to thank Jenny for her wonderful hospitality, the home is very spacious, clean and comfortable. I believe residents there have a great home, the bedroom we took the new admission to was beautiful and it was clear that the staff take care of their residents. Keep up the good work Bourley Grange care home!
