Bittenham Springs was the dream venue for our wedding in September 2022. It was the first and only venue we saw when planning our wedding, and we had a marquee reception there, following a ceremony at the local church. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, and nothing was too much trouble for Emma and Steve either before or during our day. They even let us change clothes in their house in the evening…! We really loved the flexibility the venue offered – we could pick the suppliers we wanted, we had access to the venue from a couple of days before, and the day after so cleanup and takedown wasn’t a rush, and we could really make the venue our own. So many of our guests said how gorgeous the venue was, and commented on how quiet and secluded it felt. I would wholeheartedly recommend Bittenham Springs (or their new venue, Water’s Edge) to anybody – we couldn’t have asked for a better venue.

My husband & I got married at Bittenham Springs in 2021 and look back on our day with such fond memories. From the minute we viewed it, I absolutely knew this is where we would say our vows. Steve and Emma were a refreshing, personal touch from the very corporate style venues we’d viewed previously. They allowed us time to just wander the beautiful grounds without hounding us with brochures & pricelists which we loved!
The day (& week leading up too) was absolutely seamless. We were able to set up the 2 days in advance & take down the day after – having a venue that didn’t give access on the actual day & kick you out at 9am the day afterwards was super important to me!!
Many of our guests, still to this day, still talk about our wedding day & how it was the most beautiful venue they had been too – If you are thinking about getting married here, you absolutely will not regret it! 💗

Bittenham Springs is a stunning setting for a wedding that needs to be seen to be believed. We would recommend it to anyone that is looking to have a day that is completely unique to you. We wanted to have a laid back wedding where we could make our own choices rather than be restricted (as you are with some more traditional venues). Bittenham Springs ticked every box, we held our reception in tipi tents we hired and the ceremony was held outside by the lake, it was everything we had envisaged and we could not be any happier with our choice of venue.
Emma and Steve are the owners of Bittenham Springs and are an absolute joy to work with. It was clear from the first time we met them that they were lovely people who really care about you having the wedding that you want. They gave great advice in the planning stages and were always on hand to make sure everything ran smoothly on the day.
Oh and the option of being able to camp with friends overnight there was an added bonus.

We searched high and lo for the perfect venue for our wedding day. Bittenham Springs was it! We couldn’t have wanted more from this most stunning site. It is the most picturesque of places.
Emma and Steve were a delight to work with and liaised with our suppliers to ensure our day ran smoothly.
We had access to the property for a week beforehand which made preparations in the run up far easier, in particular for our barn which took a few days to erect! Also the visits from our family members to see the venue before the wedding day was met with open arms!
The grounds are immaculately kept and was the perfect setting for our 145 guests, welsh choir, amazing barn and a very excited bride and groom.
We felt proud to invite our guests to Bittenham Springs to celebrate our marriage amongst its beauty. It certainly made our very special day perfect.
I would recommend Bittenham Springs in a heartbeat.

Bittenham Springs was an incredible wedding venue – we would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. We had a tipi wedding there in August 2014, and it was the perfect setting for the relaxed, country-style theme. We had the ceremony outside by the lake, overlooked by a gorgeous weeping willow, and people said it was the prettiest venue they had ever been to for a wedding. The grounds were beautifully kept, and everything ran very smoothly on the day. The owners Emma and Steve are wonderful to deal with, and they really went that extra mile to make sure we had a great day – from being great at staying in contact throughout all the planning stages, to liaising with all our suppliers (there were lots of them!), to making sure the electricity supply for our tipi, caterers, band and loos etc was all safe and working, to welcoming us into their home on the day of the wedding to meet the registrar. They really gave our wedding the personal touch, and that was a wonderful feeling. Thank you Emma and Steve! x
