My Dad spent almost 3 years being cared for by the wonderful team of staff here. He felt at home and had complete freedom to eat in his room and socialise as much as he was comfortable with. The family felt reassured he had the best possible life and we could be confident he did not want for anything. Each time his health was not as good he had hoped he was immediately given all the care that got him back into a happy place. He loved the banter and appreciated the kindness of them all. Thank you all Argyles, you treated my Dad like your own.

I visited Argyles to complete a review with one of my clients who was staying there for some respite. Emma Hooper greeted us in reception and she was lovely. She was very welcoming and was gave us some background and information on the care home. All staff spoke to us whilst we were speaking and the home was extremely nice and clean. Lovely atmosphere and lovely place with lovely staff.

Argyles is such a lovely place for my Grandad he is so happy there. All the staff are extremely helpful and caring, attending to his every need 24 hours a day. There is so much food available so he is very spoilt which is exactly what you want for a loved one. They always have activities on for the residents and their family and people can choose to join in or not. They have recently redecorated so it’s looking even fresher than usual too. There are no restrictions on when you can visit so it’s easy to check in.

It is truly a lovely place and the residents are well cared for by a sympathetic and caring staff.
There is only one downside: the restaurant’s seating arrangements seem to be dictated by the Head Office without any thought as to where and with whom the residents want to sit.
Just to reiterate the staff and local management are first-class. It is truly home from home.
I just wish it had been this good when we were looking for somewhere for my mother.

I think the Argyles care/ nursing home is outstanding in the care, compassion and leadership. This is very evident as all the staff were happy at their work.
My Mum spent her end of life care at the Argyles. Jane Edwards- the manager and Alex – the deputy manager and all the wonderful staff were so caring and nothing was too much.
There are all angels and we are so fortunate Mum recieved outstanding care
